REF: Lindsay LeBrecht The following is a reference for Lindsay LeBrecht of Copake Lake Realty. I was referred to Lindsay LeBrecht after the contract on the sale of our home fell through in mid-year 2016. I do not live in the area of Copake Lake, and called Lindsay a day or two before I was in the area. Lindsay went out of her way to meet me on my time schedule. She also provided accurate and candid detail of what she felt was the property value. Soon after our first meeting I had decided I wanted to work with Lindsay. By the end of that first day she also worked late to sign the paperwork to begin working as our agent. Soon after we began working together, Lindsay was hard at work showing the property. As it got later into the year, I was not expecting too much action on the house as Thanksgiving and Christmas approached. Lo and behold, Lindsay not only was busy showing the house, she actually sold it just before Christmas, in less than 60 days!! And her follow up until the closing was just as conscientious as the first day I met her. We were only THINKING about buying a second home in the area that Lindsay covers and called her office when we saw a “For Sale’ sign by chance. Her associate, Millie, agreed to meet us same day and then Lindsay thought of a few more properties we might be interested in based on a quick introduction. They both really helped us get a good feel and background on the area very quickly and treated us like friends. Once we were hooked on a house, Lindsay led us through the whole process and recommended local resources to investigate the property we ultimately purchased We weren’t disappointed at any point — she even helped to ensure our closing date didn’t slip when we had a last minute hiccup in the paperwork. In a very tough real estate market, Lindsay worked harder tan any broker I have ever seen to help me sell my lakefont land. She was professional, eminently ethical and she balanced the emotional volatility of both buyer and seller. While no one can dictate the market conditions, Lindsay worked successfully within them.
